DEEP C Industrial Zones, a leading industrial park developer in Vietnam, announced the availability of DEEP C Haiphong III (DEEP C HP III) for investors, a strategically located industrial zone designed to empower investment projects in light industries, automotive and supporting industries, port operations, and logistics.

Prime Location

Situated directly next to the Lach Huyen deep seaport and the Vinfast automobile manufacturing complex, DEEP C HP III offers unparalleled access for businesses that rely on high volumes of imports and exports of components, raw materials, and finished products. This unique positioning minimizes transportation costs and streamlines supply chains.

Readiness for Industrial Development

DEEP C HP III boasts 38 hectares of fully serviced industrial land available for immediate land handover, with essential utilities like power and water infrastructure scheduled for completion in 2024. The total land area of 520 hectares includes dedicated zones for general industrial land (350ha), port land (19ha), and a designated area for the existing Cát Hải town (51ha). The remaining space will be allocated for utilities, green spaces, and internal road networks.

Target Industries

DEEP C HP III's strategic location caters perfectly to a variety of industries, including:

  • Port operations, Inland Container Depots (ICDs), and warehouses
  • Logistics service providers
  • Manufacturers of oversized and overweight cargo requiring direct port access
  • Automotive parts manufacturers
  • Supporting industries for the wider ecosystem

Sustainability

DEEP C is committed to sustainable development, and the industrial symbiosis model implemented at DEEP C HP III exemplifies this dedication. This model fosters resource exchange and minimizes waste at three levels: factory-to-factory, factory-to-industrial park, and industrial park-to-residential community. The preservation of Cát Hải town within DEEP C HP III represents a prime example of level 3 industrial symbiosis. This initiative not only promotes sustainability but also contributes to a readily available workforce for future production activities in the zone.

Investment Attraction

With its robust infrastructure and strategic location, DEEP C HP III is poised to attract significant investment. The industrial zone aims to secure three key investment projects totaling $200 million USD by 2024.

“DEEP C Haiphong III is a strategic hub designed to empower businesses in light industries, automotive, port operations, and logistics,” said Koen Soenens, General Sales & Marketing Director at DEEP C Industrial Zones. “The proximity to Lach Huyen deep seaport and Vinfast creates an unparalleled environment for efficient and cost-effective operations.”

DEEP C Industrial Zones is an industrial zone infrastructure developer and operator. Established in 1997, DEEP C has developed a land bank of 3,400ha across five industrial zones in Haiphong City and Quang Ninh province. DEEP C envisions becoming the reference for developers of an industrial zone in Vietnam by building inclusive eco-industrial parks, providing sustainable economic growth.

DEEP C takes the four pillars of ESG as the pathway to realize its sustainability visions:

(1) DEEP C cares for Planet, under which DEEP C has been actively monitoring its CO2 emission, invested in renewable energy to reach the net-zero target, managed waste stream and executed recycle projects to become zero-waste, and constructed nature-based infrastructure as climate change adaptation;

(2) DEEP C cares for People with a focus on creating the best place to work for its employees and its social responsibilities, especially to local communities. (3) With the pillar of Profit, DEEP C wants to prove that sustainability is profitable in the long run. DEEP C understands it cannot be sustainable alone, so partnership is another core pillar of its sustainability strategy.

As home to 170+ investment projects in manufacturing and logistics, DEEP C believes it is its responsibility to lead by example through building inclusive and sustainable industrial zones.
