On behalf of the two agencies, Editor-in-Chief of the World & Vietnam Report Nguyen Truong Son and Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City Tran Phuoc Anh signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Attending at the event also were representatives of sessions, divisions of the two agencies.
The two sides agreed upon that, the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in external information and communication work between the World & Vietnam Report and the Department of Foreign Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City will help create a basis and favorable conditions for the two agencies to strengthen cooperation in the field of external information and communication work through the implementation of specific projects, contributing to strengthening communication of policies and guidelines of the Party and State in foreign affairs, promoting the image of the country, including Ho Chi Minh City to international friends.

Accordingly, the two sides will conduct periodic exchange of experiences and information exchange, coordinating the implementation of external information products, as well as providing information products for external communication, media sponsorship, reporting on foreign activities, organisation of professional training courses on external information and journalism, ect.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Son and Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh express their belief that the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding will help the cooperation relationship between the two agencies become increasingly closer in the coming time, and at the same time doing a better information and communication work to foreign activities.
