For soldiers far from home, thousands of kilometers away, the flag-raising ceremony becomes a steadfast spiritual anchor. Lieutenant Nguyen Thanh Tien, from the Protection Unit, emotionally shared: “As a young party member recently admitted, setting foot in a distant land for an international mission, I deeply feel the honour of being part of the Party, carrying the mission of peacekeeping.
The first flag-raising ceremony far from the homeland brings pride and a powerful source of motivation, fueling the resolve for me and my comrades to overcome all challenges and excel in our noble international mission.”
After the flag-raising ceremony, the soldiers enthusiastically return to their daily tasks. They continue building roads, repairing schools and hospitals, bringing hope and new life to the local people.
