Ten outstanding young figures in 2023 announced
Winners of the Vietnam Outstanding Young Faces Award 2023 have been announced recently by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

From a worker at an environmental sanitation company in Quang Ninh, with a love of music, Nguyen Duc Cuong (born in 1989) became the top rapper in Vietnam and inspired life and contributed to the community with the stage name Den Vau.

The male rapper is the first artist to be named four times consecutively on the Top Vietnamese Songs music chart of Billboard Vietnam 2022.
Through each of his lyrics and melodies, Den Vau conveys positive life values to listeners. In 2023, the male artist's MV "Cooking for Children" earned more than 418 million VND after one month of release, conveying the positive message of the "Nurture Children" project, helping more than 30,000 high-class students receive food.
With his contributions, Den Vau received the 2023 National Volunteer Award and received the "Community Artist of the Year 2023" award with the work Cooking for Children.
Den Vau sponsored 690 million VND to build two schools including Huoi Coi Primary School, Na Nghiu Primary School, Na Nghiu Commune, Song Ma district, Son La province; Sa Phin 1 School, Sa Tong Primary School, Sa Tong commune, Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province.
In addition, Den Vau also sponsored the project "Nurturing Children" with more than 160 million VND for 30 students for 4 years; sponsored more than one billion VND from the money earned through the MV Cooking for Children to build two schools in Lai Chau and Cao Bang; sponsored the "Spring Bus - Tet Reunion 2024" of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center to support buses to take 2,000 people in difficult circumstances back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.
They are Dinh Cao Don (study category), Doctor of Science Ha Thi Thanh Huong and Doctor of Science and Medicine Ngo Quoc Duy (scientific research - innovation), Dang Duong Minh Hoang (labor and production), Nguyen Xuan Luc (business - startup), Captain Vu Van Cuong (defense), Captain Le The Van (security and order), marksman Pham Quang Huy (sport); Dang Cat Tien (social activities), and rapper Nguyen Duc Cuong, widely known as Den Vau (culture and arts).
The committee also selected nine Vietnamese potential young figures in 2023 in the nine above-mentioned fields.
The awarding ceremony is scheduled to be held in Hanoi on March 23.
