‘Symphonic Dialogue’ strengthens Vietnam-Hungary cultural exchange

Attending the concert were Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security, General Luong Tam Quang; Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang; Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Baloghdi Tibor; along with numerous delegates, ambassadors, chargé d'affaires, and heads of international organizations in Vietnam.
In his opening remarks, Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam Baloghdi Tibor emphasized that Hungary's National Day (March 15) is a special occasion to honour the spirit of freedom and the national identity of Hungary. He also sees it as an opportunity to promote cultural exchange and enhance understanding between the peoples of the two countries.
Ambassador Baloghdi Tibor highlighted that music serves as a sustainable bridge to enhance understanding and connection among nations. This concert is expected to offer the Vietnamese audience a solemn and emotional artistic space where the spirit, identity, and soul of Hungary are expressed through classical musical masterpieces.

The Ambassador also noted that over the past 76 years, the traditional friendship between Hungary and Vietnam has been continuously strengthened and expanded across various fields, laying a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation in the future.
Speaking at the concert, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang extended congratulations to the government and people of Hungary on the occasion of the 178th National Day (1848-2026), acknowledging Hungary's comprehensive development achievements and its increasingly elevated position on the international stage.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed that the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, nurtured over more than 76 years, continue to develop positively across many areas, providing a solid foundation for expanding cooperation in the future. Additionally, the community of over 6,000 Vietnamese living, studying, and working in Hungary, especially the generations of students, is considered an important bridge contributing to strengthening and deepening the friendship between the two countries.
The program brought together talented artists from Hungary and Vietnam, such as pianist László Váradi, artist Dalma Süle, artist Ninh Duc Hoang Long, along with conductor Olivier Ochanine and the Sun Symphony Orchestra.
In the modern auditorium of Ho Guom Theater, Vietnamese and Hungarian artists shared the stage, presenting performances that blended European classical music with Hungarian cultural colors, creating impressive artistic highlights.

The program introduced the audience to works by world-renowned composers, interspersed with distinctive Hungarian melodies and classic opera excerpts. According to the organizers, "Vietnam-Hungary Symphonic Dialogue" is not just an art performance but also a symbol of cultural exchange, reflecting the excellent friendship between Vietnam and Hungary. Through music, the program opened an emotionally rich dialogue space, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
