Regional farm produce introduced at Hanoi trade fair

A wide range of agricultural products, fruits, and regional specialties are being introduced at a 120-booth trade fair held at the Economic and Trade Exhibition Centre, Hanoi from August 15 to 18, 2024.

In the Economic and Trade Exhibition Centre, Hanoi. Cooperatives, businesses, and farmers’ associations from across the nation have contributed agro-forestry-fishery products grown under organic and ecological agriculture standards, traditional craft products, and those developed under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme.

A promotion week for Chi Lang custard apple and many other agricultural products of the northern province of Lang Son like star anise, Bao Lam Seedless Persimmons, and Trang Dinh Black Jelly is scheduled at the event.

A highlight of the fair is a live streaming session on TikTok’s “Nong San Viet Online” (Online Vietnamese Agricultural Products) from 9:00 to 13:00 on August 16, offering various discount deals to customers.

Furthermore, an event to popularise and improve the value of Vietnamese specialty coffee will be organized with a wide range of activities such as Latte art performances, cupping, and the auction of several specialty products under the Vietnam Amazing Cup 2024.

The Hanoi Coordination Office for New Style Rural Area development showcases local OCOP products, craft goods, and safe agricultural products at 50 booths.

The first trade fair was held in the capital in June this year.
