Reference exchange rate at 25,247 VND/USD, up 4 VND on August 13
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange at 25,247 VND/USD on August 13, up 4 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,509 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,985 VND/USD.
At 8:30 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks went up.
Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 26,090 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,450 VND/USD, up 40 VND from August 12 morning.
BIDV added 30 VND to both rates, listing the buying rate at 26,080 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,440 VND/USD.
