Promoting role of the political nucleus, improving effectiveness of organization and personnel work
WVR - On May 9, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Party Cell of the Organization and Personnel Department held the Party Cell Congress for the 2025-2027 term, to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in the past term, propose directions and tasks for the next term, and contribute opinions to documents submitted to Party Congresses at all levels.

Attending the Congress were Mr Nguyen Minh Vu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Standing Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr Nguyen Dac Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Chief of the Office of the Party Committee - Mass Organizations and the officials representing Party cells of units under the Ministry.
Standing Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu acknowledged the results of the 2022-2025 term and the political core role of the Party Cell of the Department of Organization and Personnel, and suggested the Party Cell's focus on five key tasks:
First, improve the quality of strategic advisory work on cadre organization, Party building; effectively implement the arrangement of the organizational apparatus according to Resolution 18.
Second, innovate the content and form of Party Cell activities in a practical and effective direction, associated with improving the leadership capacity and fstrength of the Party organization.
Third, improve the quality of planning and personnel management, ensuring scientific, democratic and professional standards; strengthen inspection, supervision and strict handling of violations.
Fourth, build strong trade union and youth union organizations, promote the role of a bridge between the Party Committee and the masses.
Fifth, promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the management of organizations, cadres and Party affairs.

According to the summary report, in the past term, the Party Cell led the Organization and Personnel Department to complete a large amount of work, effectively implementing the Resolution of the Party Cell Congress for the term 2022-2025; focusing on political and ideological work, innovating leadership methods, maintaining the principles of Party organization and activities.
The Congress discussed and gave in-depth comments on the draft documents of the Party Congress of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 14th National Party Congress, focusing on evaluating the results and lessons learned from the past term, proposing specific solutions to improve the leadership quality of the Party Cell; adjusting and supplementing the system of indicators closer to reality; affirming the role and contribution of the Party Cell in implementing the political tasks of the Ministry and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
In his concluding remarks, Standing Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu expressed his belief that with the tradition of solidarity, high sense of responsibility and solid professional capacity, the Party Cell of the Department of Organization and Personnel will continue to excellently complete all assigned tasks, making practical contributions to the development of the Diplomatic sector and the overall success of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
