At the conference, Thanh Hoa announced a list of 173 priority projects for investment attraction from 2026 to 2030, spanning six main sectors, with a total projected capital of over 570 trillion VND (approximately 24 billion USD).

Accordingly, when investors come to explore opportunities, the province will assist in surveying, site selection, and administrative procedures. Once projects are implemented, Thanh Hoa commits to accompanying investors in land acquisition, handover, and promptly addressing challenges throughout the investment, production, and business process.

Monthly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee will meet directly with businesses to listen and resolve issues. District and commune levels will also allocate at least one day each month to support businesses.

Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged Thanh Hoa's significant potential, competitive advantages, and important achievements, while also recognizing existing challenges. He expressed gratitude to investors for their interest and partnership with the province, aiming to build Thanh Hoa into a "model province".

Analyzing the rapidly changing, complex, and unpredictable global context, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to strengthen solidarity, cooperation, and dialogue to overcome challenges. Recently, Vietnam has maintained macroeconomic stability, sustained growth, controlled inflation, and ensured major economic balances.

The year 2026 is identified as the start of a new development phase according to the Party's 14th Congress Resolution, with high demands on growth speed, quality, and sustainability. The goal is to achieve double-digit economic growth from 2026 to 2030. To achieve this, sectors and localities, including Thanh Hoa, must strive for corresponding growth.

The Prime Minister stressed the development perspective based on mobilizing and effectively utilizing resources. Internal resources such as human capital, natural resources, and cultural-historical traditions play a fundamental, strategic, and long-term role. External resources like capital, technology, management, and human resource training are crucial for breakthroughs. Additionally, three strategic breakthroughs need effective implementation: institutional improvement, infrastructure development, and enhancing human resource quality.

Moreover, addressing institutional bottlenecks and enhancing the execution capacity of officials will help reduce compliance costs for businesses and improve competitiveness. Developing strategic infrastructure, especially connectivity infrastructure, will contribute to reducing input costs. Additionally, there should be a focus on training high-quality human resources to meet the demands of green transformation, digital transformation, creative economy, circular economy, and knowledge economy.

For Thanh Hoa, the Prime Minister suggested continuing to strengthen unity, innovate approaches, reform administrative procedures, and combat corruption and waste. Simultaneously, focus on infrastructure development, expand development space, and maximize human advantages.

To the business community and investors, the Prime Minister encouraged effectively leveraging local potential and advantages while emphasizing the spirit of dedication, sharing, and cooperation. All parties should adhere to the principle of "harmonized benefits, shared risks", ensure commitments are fulfilled, and deliver tangible products for the benefit of the people.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the Government always accompanies and supports business development. When businesses succeed, the country prospers; when businesses face difficulties, the Government will share and resolve them. He also emphasized the spirit of close coordination among entities: Party leadership, State facilitation, local action, business pioneering, public-private partnership, and public support, thereby promoting sustainable national development and improving people's livelihoods.
