Peruvian Embassy donates books to the National Library of Vietnam

The donation ceremony was held at the National Library of Vietnam with the participation of Mr. Luis Tsuboyama - Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Peru in Vietnam, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Colombia, representatives of the American Department - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Union of Friendship Organizations of Vietnam, Mrs. Kieu Thuy Nga - Director of the National Library of Vietnam together with deputy directors and library’s managers.

Thanks to the various contents on history, culinary arts, diverse cultural heritage, these books will make contributions to the dissemination of information on this country and people to Vietnamese readers. It is a marvelous country, which has the rich culture with long-standing customs, colorful cuisine and magnificent natural landscapes.

Addressing at the ceremony, Mr. Luis Tsuboyama expressed his deep gratitude to the National Library of Vietnam because of the constant support to the Embassy in promoting cultural exchange, introducing and popularizing Peru’s literature, culture, cuisine and tourism.

Besides, Mrs. Kieu Thuy Nga – Director of the Library also gave great thanks to the Peruvian Embassy in Vietnam for donating these valuable and meaningful books.
