The delegation included leaders from 25 Japanese enterprises operating in finance and banking, energy, trade services, real estate, information technology, tourism, and healthcare sectors.
Permanent Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Vu welcomed Mr. Murakami and the Fukuoka business managers' delegation to Vietnam at a significant time, as Vietnam has just successfully held the 14th National Party Congress, and the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership is thriving comprehensively and effectively across all fields.
Deputy Minister Vu provided updates on the 14th National Party Congress and Vietnam's determination to achieve development goals in the new era.
Highlighting the close and politically trustworthy relationship between the two countries, Deputy Minister Vũ expressed hope that Japan and Fukuoka enterprises will partner with Vietnam in achieving development goals, particularly in digital transformation, green transition, and innovation, including access to Japan's modern technologies. He urged association members to share insights to aid Vietnam's development in the coming period.

During the meeting, Secretary-General Michiaki introduced the Fukuoka Prefecture Business Managers Association, established in 1947 with 500 members, including leading enterprises in Fukuoka, aiming to promote the province's economic development.
Expressing delight at meeting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs leaders during this visit, Mr. Michiaki noted his impression of Vietnam's development goals. He affirmed the association's desire to enhance cooperation with Vietnam, strengthen connections between its businesses and those in Fukuoka with Vietnamese enterprises, and promote information exchange to contribute more to Vietnam's development objectives.

Agreeing with Deputy Minister Vu, Vice Chairman Murakami Hideyuki praised Vietnam's efforts to improve the investment cooperation environment. He stated that the association will continue to promote cooperation between businesses in both countries in areas where the association's members excel and Vietnam has demand, such as smart urban management, finance and banking, environmental protection, trade services, information technology, healthcare, and human resource training. He also emphasized strengthening collaboration with Vietnamese businesses in emerging fields like AI, semiconductors, energy (nuclear, renewable, fusion), and quantum technology.
