Since then, bilateral relations have flourished across various fields, from political-diplomatic, economic, and cultural exchanges to education and people-to-people interactions.
Minister Le Hoai Trung emphasized: “With a solid foundation of friendship over the past 50 years, Vietnam and Angola are well-positioned to elevate bilateral relations to new heights – more substantive, effective, and enduring, becoming a model for South-South cooperation.”
The Minister noted that Angola has become one of Vietnam's leading partners in Africa today.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Angola's Independence Day and the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, President Luong Cuong made a state visit to Angola in early August 2025.
The visit was a resounding success, yielding significant outcomes and opening up numerous new opportunities for cooperation in economic, trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges...
These are clear demonstrations of the solidarity, affection, and importance that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam attach to their relationship with Angola, as well as the promising partnership between the two nations.
