Speaking at the ceremony, Consul General Doan Phuong Lan highly appreciated the significance of establishing the association in the context of the growing Vietnamese business community in Busan.
The Consul General expressed hope that the association would develop not only as a hub for business connections but also as a symbol of solidarity, self-reliance, and joint development of the Vietnamese community in the southeastern region of the Republic of Korea.
Consul General Doan Phuong Lan suggested that the association focus on key tasks such as connecting Vietnamese businesses with Korean partners, supporting members and the broader Vietnamese business community in accessing legal, market, and investment information; while also building the image of professional, reputable, and responsible Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the Republic of Korea.
The Consul General affirmed that the Consulate General of Vietnam in Busan will always accompany and support the association in its activities.

On behalf of the association, Chairman Nguyen Hoang Thu expressed gratitude for the attention and importance placed by the Government, the State, and Vietnamese diplomatic missions in the area, especially the support from the Consulate General of Vietnam in Busan for the Vietnamese community in the region in general and the Vietnamese Business Association in Busan in particular.
He also affirmed efforts to develop according to the goals of connecting the Vietnamese business community for unity and sustainable development in Busan, promoting bilateral Vietnam-Republic of Korea investment and trade cooperation, and enhancing the status of the Vietnamese business community in the Republic of Korea…
