On October 29th in Kien Giang, the People’s Committee of Kien Giang has signed agreements on cooperation with Joint venture between Investment Commercial Service Cooperation (ISC) LTD Co. and Sea Breeze Vietnam on the guideline of building Waste Management Factory BEL FU and the project Vietnamese Russian – Sea Breeze of building luxurious resorts, combined with tourism ports and subsidiary services.
Speaking at the Ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Kien Giang Pham Vu Hong stated: “The province always provides favorable conditions to Russian investors interested in Kien Giang, specifically investments in solving prioritized issue of environment management.”
With the guideline of promoting cooperation and investment in various fields that senior leaders have signed recently, the projects are hoped to become symbols in Russia – Vietnam cooperation. Specifically, they happen during Vietnam Year in Russia and Russia Year in Vietnam from 2019-2020, therefore has significant and symbolizing meanings and could be the new motivations in reinforcing and deepening bilateral relations.
Joint venture Investment Commercial Service Cooperation (ISC) LTD Co. and Sea Breeze Vietnam is the first 100% foreign-capital of Russia in Vietnam to invest in Kien Giang. At the event, the Russia business hoped that the province would provide more favorable conditions for Russian investors. According to Mr. Dimitrii Mitin of Sea Breeze Vietnam, Russian businesses currently have efficient waste management technologies, therefore reduces environmental issues and could protect Phu Quoc’s tourism environment, specifically regarding marine environment.
With the participation of Russian businesses, Kien Giang had expressed its hope of making Phu Quoc district into an economic spearhead of the province. The People’s Committee of Kien Giang and Phu Quoc district Party Committee had expressed its unified supports for Russian investors in pivotal projects in accordance to the development goals and strategies of the province. The Vietnam – Russia Investment Conference is an opportunity for Russian investors, leaders of government agencies and Bureau of Kien Giang to meet, talk and together, solve difficulties and promote the investment processes of many projects with Russian businesses’ participation in recent years.
Vietnamese – Russian project – Sea Breeze is located in An Thoi urban area, Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province. The investment goal is building tourism port and subsidiary services, developing environmental-friendly marine tourism, ships and canoes using Hybrid technologies. The project would take up 99 hectares of land, with a total investment of 360 million USD (8,360 billion VND). The project is expected to be complete in 26 months. EU-standardized BEL FU waste management project in Phu Quoc is located in Bai Bon hamlet, Ham Ninh village, Phu Quoc district with total cost of 1,500 billion VND (in 2 periods; 1st period: 1,050 billion VND; 2nd period: 450 billion VND). Through this standardized project, the joint ventures expected to expand and apply waste management technologies to more provinces in the countries, in order to push back alarming environmental pollutions in Vietnam. |
