Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee’s first Congress for the 2025–2030 term: Goals for 2030, strategic vision toward 2045

During the two working days of October 2 and 3, the Congress of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee focused on intelligence, engaged in lively and democratic discussions, contributed opinions, and unanimously approved the Political Report, the Review Report of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term; the consolidated report of opinions on the draft Political Report and the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The Congress also agreed to the consolidated report of opinions on the draft documents for the 14th National Party Congress, expressing high consensus and deep trust in the policies, guidelines, and development strategies of the Central Party Committee. The Congress expressed strong confidence that with the courage and intelligence of the entire Party, people, and army, the 14th National Party Congress will be a great success, marking an important milestone in achieving the goal of "a wealthy people, a strong country, democracy, justice, and civilization", leading the nation into a new era of prosperity and development.

The Congress agreed on the theme "Unity, consensus, building a clean and strong Party and political system; confident, self-reliant, resilient, creating breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development of Hung Yen Province towards a modern, rich, beautiful, prosperous, civilized, and happy industrial province". This is a strong political message and a call to action for the entire Party Committee and the people of Hung Yen Province.

100% of the delegates voted unanimously to approve the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of Hung Yen Province, term 2025 - 2030, with 9 economic development targets, 15 social development targets, 7 environmental protection targets, along with groups of targets on national defense, security, social order, safety, and Party building, political system; 3 strategic breakthroughs, 6 key tasks.

The Congress set the goal for 2030, with a strategic vision to 2045, "Building Hung Yen Province with a dynamic and rapidly developing economy, becoming a modern industrial province among the leading in the country; becoming a strong maritime economic center in the North; a smart, ecological city under the Central Government.

Speaking at the closing session of the Congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia affirmed: The success of the Congress of the Party Committee of the province is the effort, intelligence, dedication, and responsibility of 438 delegates attending the Congress, over 182,000 party members, and more than 3.2 million people in the province. The results of the Congress are evidence of the will, determination, and strong development aspirations, a great encouragement for the Party Committee, army, and people of the province to confidently advance on the path of renewal and development, fulfilling the late General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh's instruction "to make Hung Yen a strong province of the entire nation of Vietnam" and the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's wish "May the Party Committee, administration and people of Hung Yen develop, progress, and achieve many new great successes; may our homeland become more prosperous and peaceful! May Hung Yen advance far. Hung Yen should be like that to be Hung Yen".

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia delivered the closing speech of the congress.

To build a prosperous, modern, civilized, and thriving Hung Yen, where people live well and happily, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that immediately after this Congress, the Provincial Party Committee should promptly review and concretize the Congress Resolution into an action program with tasks, projects, and investment projects, along with strengthening regular inspection, supervision, preliminary and final reviews in a timely manner with the spirit of "clear tasks, clear people, clear responsibilities, clear results, clear deadlines" and the motto "one policy, ten solutions, twenty determinations". He urged the Party Committees at all levels to effectively propagate and disseminate the Congress results to each cell, party member throughout the Party Committee; to study and deeply grasp the Congress Resolution; to effectively build and implement programs, action plans, and promote patriotic emulation movements, quickly bringing the Congress Resolution to life.

On behalf of the Congress, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee called on all levels, sectors, all cadres, party members, armed forces soldiers, and people in the province to promote the glorious cultural, historical, and revolutionary traditions of the homeland, to unite, be dynamic, creative, and constantly strive to rise, to exert all strength, intelligence, and talent, to maximize all potentials and advantages, to overcome all difficulties and challenges, to seize all opportunities, turning "danger" into "opportunity" to successfully achieve the goals set out in the Congress Resolution; to turn the development aspiration into motivation and more responsible, decisive action to continue writing the heroic history.

He also hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership, close direction, and greater support from the Central Party, State, central committees, ministries, agencies, and organizations; closer cooperation from provinces and cities nationwide, and the companionship and support of the people and business community in the coming time.

At the press conference, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Information, Education and Mobilisation Department, quickly informed the press agencies about the outcomes of the first Congress of the Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.

Representatives of some provincial and central press agencies spoke highly of the Congress's preparation, especially the political report, which evaluated the results and outlined specific and comprehensive directions, goals, and tasks across all fields.

Representatives of the press also raised several questions to the provincial leaders, such as: What determination does the Provincial Party Committee show to concretize and achieve the expectations of the Congress theme and motto; solutions for building a clean and strong local government in the 2025 - 2030 period; the province's orientation in implementing strategic breakthroughs in science, creativity, and digital transformation in the province; the implementation of policies related to people's lives as specified in the Congress Resolution's goals and targets; solutions to increase local budget revenue, creating position and strength to implement socio-economic development tasks, improving people's lives in the province; directions to enhance the effectiveness of activities, promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations.

In his concluding remarks at the press conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia sincerely thanked the central and local press agencies for actively propagating and timely, objectively informing, contributing to spreading the spirit of the Congress; he also highly appreciated the role of the press in the province's development, affirming that the attention and companionship of the press have contributed to increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of leadership, direction, and administration of the Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province in recent times.
