Herbalife Vietnam is awarded Certificate of Recognition "For the National Green Environment in 2023" campaign
The "For the National Green Environment" campaign was rolled out from May to November this year to call for the public to protect the environment, and adopt healthy, green-clean lifestyles.

In 18th November 2023 in Ha Noi – Herbalife Vietnam, a premier health and wellness company and community, was awarded the Certificate of Recognition by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment for its positive environmental social contributions in response to the "For the National Green Environment in 2023" campaign.

In 2020, Herbalife Vietnam introduced a program under its Go Green initiative to reduce the discharge of plastic waste into the environment. The Company replaced all plastic product carry bags with multiple-use fabric bags and stopped using single-use plastic utensils at its offices and events. This project resulted in a reduction of 50 tons of plastic each year.
Another meaningful action for the environment is the Simply Recycle Challenge, which was launched in 2022 by Herbalife to encourage its Independent Members across the Asia Pacific region to recycle used Herbalife product canisters. Herbalife also partnered with the non-profit organization One Tree Planted to plant one tree for every 50 canisters recycled by participants. In Vietnam, this initiative saw a total of 965,000 canisters submitted for recycling in 2022 and this year. The result also led to 10,727 trees being planted in the Asia Pacific region, of which 1,421 were already planted in Gia Lai, Vietnam.
To make positive environmental impacts, employees of Herbalife Vietnam volunteered in clean-up activities during the Company’s Global Month of Purpose initiative held from April to June this year. Herbalife’s volunteers helped clean the Son Tra Beach and Mountain in Danang, Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi, and Cay Mai Park in Ho Chi Minh.

Organized annually since 2012 by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment, the Program "For the National Green Environment" aims to implement Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on proactively responding to climate change, strengthening natural resource management and conservation, and protecting the environment. Through the Program "For the National Green Environment," the Organizing Committee aims to help raise people’s awareness of their responsibility in protecting the environment, call for joint support from businesses to protect the environment, respond to climate change, and preserve biodiversity.
