Global Junior Supermodel 2026 Finals: Connecting young Vietnamese worldwide, promoting Vietnamese language and culture

The program is organized by the Global Network for Teaching Vietnamese Language and Culture; GAG Japanese Language Academy, Skyline Entertainment, along with partner units, under the theme “Preserve Vietnamese Language – Spread Vietnamese Culture – Connect the Future”.

Following the success of the first season in Japan, Global Junior Supermodel 2026 not only aims to find talented faces for performance but also to create an environment for interaction, education, and nurturing the young Vietnamese generation in the process of international integration.

Through talent competitions, fashion shows, cultural exchanges, and community activities, the program contributes to strengthening the connection between Vietnamese youth in the country and the overseas Vietnamese community. It also ignites national pride, love for the Vietnamese language, and the essence of Vietnamese culture.

According to the organizers, a distinctive feature of this year's season is the expansion of the network in collaboration with overseas Vietnamese associations, educational organizations, businesses, and international partners, gradually forming an ecosystem connecting the global Vietnamese youth.

Speaking at the program, Nguyen Duy Anh, Head of the Organizing Committee and General Secretary of the Global Network for Teaching Vietnamese Language and Preserving Vietnamese Culture, emphasized: “Global Junior Supermodel is not merely a competition. We aim to build a journey for children to grow in an integrated environment while preserving the Vietnamese language, culture, and awareness of their roots. Each participant in the program has the opportunity to become an ambassador spreading the image of Vietnam in the international community.”

Nguyen Duy Anh stated that in the next phase, the Organizing Committee will continue to expand the system of National Directors in many countries with Vietnamese communities, creating conditions for many Vietnamese youth to access an international platform and participate in educational, cultural, and community activities oriented towards their homeland.

New Highlight: Searching for the "Global Ambassador of Vietnamese Language and Culture 2026"

Unlike previous seasons, Global Junior Supermodel 2026 introduced the segment "I am the Ambassador of Vietnamese Language and Culture" aiming to find young faces not only with performance talent but also with the ability to use Vietnamese, understand national culture, and spread Vietnamese values to international friends.

According to the organizers, contestants submitted videos with the theme "Ambassador of Vietnamese Language – Spreading Values, Preserving Identity", expressing their love for their mother tongue through presentations, stories, and messages about Vietnam's history, culture, people, and homeland.

Many videos were made in countries where Vietnamese communities reside, vividly reflecting the journey of preserving the Vietnamese language in a multicultural environment and the aspiration to connect the young generation with their national roots.

Nguyen Duy Anh, Head of the Organizing Committee and General Secretary of the Global Network for Teaching Vietnamese Language and Preserving Vietnamese Culture, stated:

“In the context of deepening international integration, preserving the Vietnamese language for the younger generation, especially children of overseas Vietnamese, is crucial for cultural identity preservation and strengthening the connection with the homeland.

We hope Global Junior Supermodel will not only be a platform for discovering talent but also become a foundation for spreading love for the Vietnamese language, culture, and becoming ambassadors connecting the global Vietnamese community.”

Winners of the Global Ambassador of Vietnamese Language and Culture 2026: Than Pham Tram Anh and Nguyen Tam Dan

This title is awarded to contestants who excel in using Vietnamese, presentation skills, understanding of national culture, and spreading messages to the community.

In addition to receiving the title, the contestants are granted direct entry into the Top 5 of the Global Junior Supermodel 2026 finals and are guided by the Organizing Committee to participate in Vietnamese language promotion, cultural exchange, and connecting the overseas Vietnamese community in the future.

Commenting on this year's competition, MC and singer Phan Anh, Head of the Jury, noted: “What sets the competition apart is not just the performance skills but the ability to convey messages. Through the Ambassador of Vietnamese Language segment, we see the confidence, communication skills, and pride in national culture of the participants. That is the sustainable value the competition aims for.”

A representative from the Vietnamese Association in the Republic of Korea evaluated that incorporating the preservation of the Vietnamese language into an international children's platform is a meaningful initiative, motivating families and the overseas Vietnamese community to pay more attention to maintaining the mother tongue for the younger generation.

“Each child who loves, uses, and proudly introduces Vietnamese culture is a vital bridge between the homeland and the overseas Vietnamese community. Programs like Global Junior Supermodel contribute to building love for the roots and enhancing cultural exchanges between nations.”

Assessing the professional quality of the competition, MC and singer Phan Anh, Head of the Jury, stated: “What we seek is not only performance skills or appearance. A representative of Global Junior Supermodel needs to embody confidence, courage, communication skills, understanding of national culture, and the spirit to become a beautiful image of the young Vietnamese generation in an international environment.”

According to Phan Anh, this year's competition saw many contestants with bilingual abilities, confidently expressing themselves and maintaining the Vietnamese language, showing the positive support of families, the overseas Vietnamese community, and educational organizations in nurturing cultural identity for the younger generation.
