Regarding the economic field, the Deputy Minister noted that there is great potential to enhance cooperation in economics, trade, and investment compared to the scale and growth rate of both sides. Congratulating the ambassadors on their effective exchanges and interactions with major Vietnamese enterprises interested in cooperating with Africa at the "Meet Africa 2025" event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 11, the Deputy Foreign Minister is confident that with effective measures, policies, and cooperation mechanisms, both sides can better exploit the existing potential and strengths in the future.
During the meeting, the non-resident African ambassadors expressed gratitude for the warm and respectful reception by leaders and the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in organizing the credential presentation ceremony. They admired Vietnam's remarkable socio-economic development and its role and position in the region and the world, especially after 40 years of Doi Moi (renewal), and noted that many African countries consider Vietnam a model for development and integration to learn from. On this occasion, the Ambassadors emphasized the need to further strengthen the good cooperative friendship through high-level delegation exchanges and the implementation of commitments made in recent times, hoping Vietnam will continue to support African countries in agricultural development, ensuring food security, and enhancing cooperation in potential-rich fields such as trade, investment, mining, infrastructure construction, aviation, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges, as well as continue to support each other more at multilateral forums and mechanisms in the future.
