Building on the success of the "Weekend Music" project launch on Sunday afternoons, November 30 and December 7, the organizers aim to establish this as a familiar cultural rendezvous. They seek to create engaging and approachable artistic experiences, enriching the spiritual life of the people and promoting the image of Hanoi a creative, cultured, and hospitable city.

In the green space of Ly Thai To flower garden, next to the French colonial architecture of the Octagonal House (affectionately known by Hanoi residents as the "Bandstand", as it was once a space for brass bands to perform during festivals), the melodies of the "Weekend Music" project will resonate through the saxophone of Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh. This will allow both domestic and international visitors to experience a dynamic and creative Hanoi.
In the future, the "Weekend Music" project will introduce a variety of art forms, including folk, classical, and contemporary music, to create a diverse artistic space for both residents and tourists.
The project is expected to become a familiar cultural rendezvous every weekend, where music echoes amidst the historical space of Hoan Kiem lake, allowing the community to relax, appreciate, and connect with art in the most natural and complete way.
The performance on the afternoon of December 14 will feature Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh and artists from Binh Minh Jazz Club, presenting pieces such as: Hanoi Faith and Hope (Composer: Phan Nhan); Samba de Orfeu (Composer: Luiz Bonfa); On the Sunny Side of the Street (Composer: Jimmy McHugh); Hanoi's Twelve Flower Seasons (Composer: Giang Sol); They Can't Take That Away from Me (Composer: George Gershwin); All of Me (Composer: Gerald Marks); Saxophone Solo: Hanoi in the Season Without Rain (Composer: Truong Qui Hai); Western Highlands Improvisation (Composer: Quyen Van Minh); Remembering Hanoi's Autumn (Composer: Trinh Cong Son); Quando, Quando, Quando (Composer: Tony Renis); Billie's Bounce (Composer: Charlie Parker); Cold Duck Time (Composer: Eddie Harris).
