Attending the program were Vietnamese Consul General in Vladivostok Nguyen Viet Kien; representatives from the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Primorye Province, the Student Branch, the Vietnamese Student Association at the Far Eastern Federal University, expatriates, along with staff, employees, and families of the Consulate General.
Celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and on the eve of the Year of the Horse 2026, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Vladivostok, in collaboration with the Vietnamese community in the Far East, solemnly organized a flower offering ceremony at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Vladivostok city. This activity reflects the deep respect and remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions – the founder and trainer of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who led the Vietnamese people to national independence, reunification, and the building and defense of the Fatherland.

Continuing the commemorative activities, on the same day, the Consulate General organized the "Spring Homeland" program on the occasion of the Year of the Horse 2026. Speaking at the program, Consul General Nguyen Viet Kien extended New Year greetings to the expatriates, while sharing information about the results of the 14th National Congress of the Party and Vietnam's notable socio-economic achievements in 2025.
Acknowledging the positive contributions of the Vietnamese community, students, and Vietnamese students in Primorye Province in joint activities, the Consul General affirmed that these activities have contributed to fostering the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

Representatives from the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Primorye, Mr. Do Tuan Nghia, and the Vladivostok Student Branch, Mr. Tran Van Huong, on behalf of the Vietnamese community and students in the region, expressed gratitude for the support and companionship of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Vladivostok; they also affirmed their determination to build a united Vietnamese community, preserve cultural identity, focus on education, and actively contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two countries.
Earlier, on January 11, for the first time, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Vladivostok, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association in Khabarovsk, organized the "Spring Homeland" program to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 for expatriates in Khabarovsk, while visiting and encouraging those doing business at local markets. Here, Consul General Nguyen Viet Kien shared with the expatriates about the difficulties faced in 2025, while acknowledging the contributions of the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Association in Khabarovsk in strengthening community solidarity and supporting expatriates in adapting business models to comply with new local regulations.

On this occasion, the Consulate General presented Letters of Appreciation and Commendation to Vietnamese associations and individuals in Primorye and Khabarovsk who excelled in studies and community activities, contributing positively to supporting compatriots in Vietnam affected by the 2025 floods, thereby conveying care, encouragement, and sharing the joy of early spring with the expatriates.

In the festive atmosphere of welcoming spring, delegates enjoyed cultural performances celebrating the Party and the New Year, performed by the Vietnamese community in Primorye and Khabarovsk, expressing the close ties of expatriates towards their homeland, accompanying the country in its new development phase following the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Taking place in a solemn and warm atmosphere, the ceremony commemorating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the "Spring Homeland" program to celebrate the Year of the Horse 2026 in Primorye and Khabarovsk (Far East, Russian Federation) contributed to connecting the overseas Vietnamese community and spreading hope and expectations for new beginnings as Tet arrives and Spring comes.
