Fine arts is one of the key fields driving the development of the cultural industry with the goal of contributing 7% to GDP by 2030. This spirit is reflected in Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo, issued on January 7, 2026, regarding the development of Vietnamese culture, which outlines the development of fine arts (including traditional fine arts, applied arts, and photography, exhibitions) through the promotion of creativity, the application of science, technology, and digital transformation.

Fine arts are not merely works displayed in museums or pure exhibitions but appear in various fields of social life such as graphic design, fashion, interior design, architecture, handicrafts, software, video games, etc.

Fine arts play a crucial role in the key cultural industries in Vietnam. Fine art products are turned into commercially valuable products that can be exported and are highly competitive. The application of digital technology in introducing, storing works, and enhancing promotional efficiency, while focusing on protecting copyright in the digital environment for creative products, helps fine art works reach a wider audience and create a sustainable value chain.

From there, more valuable works will contribute to integrating the national fine arts into the international fine arts community.
