During the visit, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai met with CMA CGM Group and held discussions with Christine Cabau, Executive Vice President in charge of the Group's assets and operations. The two sides discussed cooperation prospects in logistics, maritime transport, port infrastructure, supply chains, and trade connectivity between Vietnam, France, Europe, and the Mediterranean region.
The Ambassador highly appreciated CMA CGM's role as one of the world's leading logistics and maritime transport groups, affirming Vietnam's desire to continue promoting cooperation with the Group in specific projects that align with Vietnam's development needs in logistics infrastructure, seaports, and international trade.
In a meeting with Airbus Group executives and a visit to the Airbus Helicopters production line in Marignane, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai emphasized that Airbus is one of Vietnam's important partners in aviation and high technology.
The two sides discussed the potential for expanding cooperation in the future, based on Vietnam's development needs and Airbus's strengths in technology, training, and engineering.
The Ambassador stressed that the Vietnamese Embassy in France is ready to act as a bridge to promote cooperation between relevant agencies, businesses, and partners from both sides.

Additionally, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai paid a courtesy visit to Michèle Rubirola, First Deputy Mayor of Marseille. Both sides agreed that Marseille holds a special place in the history of Vietnam-France relations and possesses many strengths that align with Vietnam's development needs, particularly in maritime economy, logistics, seaports, culture, education, healthcare, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
The Ambassador emphasised that Vietnam-France relations need to be further strengthened at the local level, expressing a desire to enhance connections between Marseille and Vietnamese localities, promote Vietnamese cultural activities, community exchanges, and cooperation in healthcare, training, tourism, cuisine, and scientific research.

For her part, Michèle Rubirola appreciated the Ambassador's second visit to Marseille, affirming the city's readiness to collaborate with Vietnam to promote specific cooperation projects, enhance cultural and community exchanges, and explore the potential for cooperation with Vietnamese localities based on mutual benefits and complementary strengths.
On this occasion, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Marseille, acknowledging their positive contributions in preserving national cultural identity, enhancing people-to-people exchanges, and fostering Vietnam-France friendship.
