Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet presents Credentials in North Macedonia, promoting bilateral cooperation
WVR - On December 4, at the Presidential Palace of North Macedonia, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet presented the credentials from President Luong Cuong to President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova of North Macedonia.

During the audience following the credential presentation ceremony, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova expressed condolences to the leaders and people of Vietnam for the severe damages caused by recent storms and floods. Appreciating the excellent Vietnam-North Macedonia friendship over the past 30 years, President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova affirmed that North Macedonia always respects Vietnam's independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political system.
The President emphasized North Macedonia's support for promoting bilateral cooperation and collaboration at multilateral forums, noting that there is ample room for cooperation in economic, cultural, educational, agricultural, healthcare, tourism, and emerging fields like information technology and digital transformation. North Macedonia is ready to serve as a gateway for Vietnamese goods to enter the European and Balkan markets.

For her part, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet conveyed the greetings and best wishes from the high-ranking leaders of the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam to the President, Government, and people of North Macedonia.
Praising the socio-economic development achievements of North Macedonia amid global economic fluctuations, the Ambassador affirmed her commitment to closely coordinate with relevant North Macedonian agencies and make every effort to contribute to the comprehensive development of bilateral relations in the coming time, especially by enhancing exchanges at all levels and boosting economic-trade, scientific-technical cooperation.
On this basis, the Ambassador proposed that both sides continue to expand cooperation in cultural, educational, and tourism fields, affirming that Vietnam is ready to act as a bridge to promote relations between North Macedonia and ASEAN countries.

On the occasion of presenting her credentials, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet held meetings with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; the Chief of Protocol; the Director of Relations with Non-EU Countries; the Vice President of the North Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, and representatives of major corporations and businesses such as BUSHI and BAKO.

Later that day in the capital Skopje, the Vietnamese Embassy organized the event "Vietnam-North Macedonia: Enhancing Cooperation in Innovation, Trade, and Cultural Exchange".
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Zoran Dimitrovski, representatives from ministries, press agencies, diplomatic corps, international organizations, businesses, and a large number of North Macedonian friends and the Vietnamese community there.

In her opening remarks, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet highlighted Vietnam's socio-economic development achievements after nearly 40 years of Renovation; reaffirming the determination to promote friendly and bilateral cooperation in economic, trade, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people cooperation. The Ambassador emphasized the significant potential for cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, based on Vietnam's implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and North Macedonia's SMART/MK 2030 Strategy.
Deputy Minister Zoran Dimitrovski praised Vietnam's strong development in recent times; affirmed the increasing importance of the Asia-Pacific region to Europe; and stated that North Macedonia always facilitates economic-trade and tourism cooperation between the two countries, while continuing to support Vietnam at multilateral forums.
Attendees enjoyed a special concert conducted by Maestro Le Phi Phi and the orchestra. Traditional Vietnamese melodies like Bai ca nguoi giao vien nhan dan, Trong com, Quang Binh que ta oi, along with works from North Macedonia and Europe such as Macedonian Girl and Ode to Joy, left a strong impression on the guests. The concert became a vibrant symbol of friendship and cultural exchange between the two nations.
At the conclusion of the event, Deputy Minister Zoran Dimitrovski, representatives from ministries, diplomatic corps, and guests toured the export product exhibition and enjoyed Vietnamese cuisine.
