Voters in Giang Vo Ward express strong confidence in Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly
WVR - On February 8, at a meeting to gather opinions from local voters in Giang Vo Ward, voters expressed strong confidence in and high regard for the political qualities, reputation, and professional capacity of Politburo Member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, who is being introduced as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting were Politburo Member, Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung; Party Central Committee Member, Deputy Party Secretary, and Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu; Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society Trieu The Hung; Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society Dinh Cong Sy.
The meeting was co-chaired by Tran Thi To Tam, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Vo Ward, and Co Nhu Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Giang Vo Ward.
At the meeting, the Organizing Committee announced the list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly, including Le Hoai Trung and Trieu The Hung.
A representative of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Giang Vo Ward presented the program and content of the meeting, while also providing a brief biography, work history, and civic duties, as well as local activities of Le Hoai Trung.

In a democratic, frank, and responsible atmosphere, voters focused on commenting and evaluating the political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, relationship with the people, and adherence to the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws at the residence of the candidate.
Many expressed trust and high regard for Le Hoai Trung's political bravery, reputation, work capabilities, and contributions as Minister of Foreign Affairs. They also acknowledged his responsibility, exemplary conduct, closeness to the people, and regular engagement with the local community.
Voters expect that with his experience and reputation, Le Hoai Trung will continue to fulfill the role and responsibilities of a National Assembly representative, making positive contributions to legislative activities, oversight, and decision-making on important national issues in the upcoming term.

The meeting conducted a vote of confidence in line with relevant procedures and regulations. The results showed that Le Hoai Trung received high confidence from local voters. This result is an important basis for the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to compile and report as required, contributing to ensuring that the election of the 16th National Assembly representatives is democratic, transparent, and lawful.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo Member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, representing the candidates, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Presidium, delegates, and all voters for their interest and trust. He also seriously acknowledged the heartfelt and responsible comments and suggestions from local voters. The Minister affirmed that this is an important motivation for the candidates to continue to train and strive to meet the trust and expectations of the people.
Minister Le Hoai Trung shared that he and Trieu The Hung are honored to be reintroduced as candidates for the 16th National Assembly and are touched that this is the second time they have received confidence votes from local voters.
Previously, at meetings to gather opinions from workplace voters organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society, the candidates received unanimous and absolute confidence.

Affirming that voter confidence is an important measure for each candidate, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung emphasized that if elected as representatives of the 16th National Assembly, the candidates will continue to maintain close ties with voters, actively participate in National Assembly activities, and contribute to building an increasingly professional and effective National Assembly for the benefit of the people and the sustainable development of the country.
