Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung visits Vietnamese Embassy in China
WVR - On the afternoon of February 3, during his leadership of the delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam to China, Mr Le Hoai Trung, Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Special Envoy of General Secretary To Lam, visited and worked with the staff, party members, and employees of the Vietnamese Embassy in China.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, unity, and efforts of the embassy's staff in the context of a large workload and increasing demands in a key area. The Minister inquired about the work and life conditions of the embassy's staff, party members, and employees.
Sharing about the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Minister emphasized the significance, meaning, and prominent messages of this important Congress, marking a pivotal milestone for Vietnam to rise strongly in the new era.
For the diplomatic sector, this is the first time foreign affairs have been identified as a key and regular task alongside defense and security. The Foreign Minister stressed that diplomatic staff need to undergo a strong change in mindset, be fully equipped with knowledge, and have a serious understanding of new approaches.
He affirmed that our Party and State continue to prioritize developing Vietnam-China relations in foreign affairs, aiming for deeper, more comprehensive relations, creating more breakthrough highlights in cooperation.
The Foreign Minister urged the Party Committee in China and its subordinate branches to deeply grasp the foreign policy of the 14th Party Congress, develop specific plans and action programs to implement the Congress's Resolution, and uphold the "culture of implementation" and the spirit of "words matched by actions".

The Foreign Minister suggested that the Embassy and related agencies effectively utilize the coordination mechanism among the three Ministries of Defense, Public Security, and Foreign Affairs, suitable to local conditions, ensuring proactive and creative strategic advice, with a mechanism for regular monitoring and supervision of work progress. He emphasized enhancing cooperation with Chinese authorities to promote substantive cooperation in political, economic, trade, and investment fields, actively learning from local experiences in science and technology, innovation, AI application, education, healthcare, etc.
On this occasion, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung extended New Year greetings, encouraging the embassy's staff, party members, and employees to continue their efforts and fulfill their assigned tasks well.
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh, on behalf of the Embassy, acknowledged the directives of Politburo Member, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, and expressed strong determination to implement various tasks in the coming time, contributing to the successful realization of the Party and State's foreign policy, and contributing to the prosperous development of the country and the stable, long-term development of Vietnam-China relations.
