Early on March 8 (Vietnam time), the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel issued a new notice to the Vietnamese community in the host country about safety measures as guided by the Israel Home Front Command. These measures are in effect from 8 pm. on March 7 to 8 pm. on March 9 (local time) across the entire territory of Israel.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel advises the community to pay attention to several safety measures.

Specifically, regarding gatherings and educational activities, large gatherings are limited to a maximum of 50 people, provided the venue has access to a standard shelter in case of an alert.

Beaches are temporarily closed to the public, and all educational activities, including schools, kindergartens, and other training programs, are suspended.

For economic activities and workplaces, agencies, businesses, and workplaces are only allowed to operate if they have access to a standard shelter during an alert period.

Essential economic and service sectors continue to operate according to the regulations of Israeli authorities.

In the event of an emergency alert, upon receiving a siren or information from authorities, people should quickly move to the nearest shelter, prioritizing safe rooms, communal shelters, or public shelters, and remain there until officially informed it is safe to leave.

If outdoors or in transit, individuals should find the nearest shelter and follow the instructions of the authorities.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel stated that, as of now, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage among the Vietnamese community, and residents have adhered to the host country's guidelines.

The Embassy urges the Vietnamese community to continue strictly following the new guidelines from the local authorities, proactively ensuring safety for themselves and their families, and regularly monitoring official announcements from the Israel Home Front Command and other authorities.

The Embassy will continue to closely monitor the situation and promptly update the community.
