The embassy also suggests citizens prepare a "stay-in-place" plan when necessary; choose a safe location; stock essential supplies (drinking water, dry food, personal medications, backup batteries, flashlights...); closely follow information from Qatari authorities (Ministry of Interior, local security forces...), official media, and embassy channels; promptly report any changes in residence or relocation; check personal identification documents and store copies; record emergency contact information of employers/sponsors and relatives.
