During the act, the two circus artists walked the 50-cm wide and 10-m long surface in 1 minute and 55 seconds, with Giang Quoc Co being blindfolded. Notably, during training before setting the new record, the Giang brothers failed three times.

Previously in 2021, the Giang brothers set another world record when they climbed 100 steps in 53 seconds, at the Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Girona, Spain, 10 steps more than the previous record established at the same venue in 2016.

The Giang brothers received the invitation to perform at the Guinness World Record Show in Milan, from the event’s organiser, Banijay S.p.A Company. They had only three weeks to prepare for the show.

They announced that this will be the firework record for their circus career.

Quoc Co was born in 1984 while his brother, Quoc Nghiep was born in 1989. Co started circus training when he was four, while Nghiep began at five. Co and Nghiep received the Meritorious Artist title in 2012 and 2015, respectively.
