This contributes to the robust development of Vietnam-Hungary economic and trade relations, matching the potential and strengths of both nations.

The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam is currently one of Asia's top safe and attractive investment destinations, with a transparent, stable business environment, preferential policies, a young, skilled workforce, and a market of over 100 million people.

The amended Investment Law continues to simplify procedures, reduce costs, increase transparency, and create maximum convenience for foreign investors. Ambassador Bùi Lê Thái also highlighted the capability of Vietnamese enterprises to meet high-quality standards and consumer preferences in the EU market, including Hungary.

Vietnam is now among the top five global agricultural exporters, with key products such as coffee, cashew nuts, pepper, tea, rice, tropical fruits, and seafood, which have established a strong brand presence in the international market and are increasingly favored by European consumers, including those in Hungary.

Additionally, Vietnam is becoming a production hub for electronic components and smartphones for major global corporations like Samsung, Intel, and LG. Textile, footwear, furniture, and handicraft products also hold significant export potential, meeting the quality standards and consumer preferences of the European market.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing cooperation opportunities in fields such as pharmaceuticals, biomedicine, food processing, clean energy, digital technology, smart manufacturing, environmental technology, and water and waste treatment.

Many Hungarian businesses expressed interest in expanding investment and business cooperation with Vietnam, while Vietnamese enterprises affirmed their determination to boost exports to Hungary, effectively leveraging the benefits of the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
