Expressing delight at the positive developments in the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang affirmed that recent high-level visits, such as President Vladimir Putin's visit to Vietnam in 2024 and General Secretary To Lam's visit to Russia last May, have created important new momentum for bilateral cooperation. The Deputy Minister emphasized that the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs should closely coordinate and play an active role in implementing high-level agreements, contributing to deepening the relationship between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Deputy Minister thanked Russia for sending the Federal Prosecutor General to attend the opening ceremony of the UN Convention on Cybercrime in Hanoi, considering it a practical support for Vietnam's initiative and a contribution to the success of the event.
