Vietnam and Japan sign six cooperation documents during Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae's visit
WVR - On May 2, following the talks, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae witnessed the signing of six important documents in the fields of space technology, information and communication, irrigation, disaster-resilient infrastructure development, climate change adaptation, and low-carbon growth.

During the visit, the two sides signed six important documents in the fields of space technology, information and communication, irrigation, disaster-resilient infrastructure development, climate change adaptation, and low-carbon growth.
The cooperation documents witnessed by the two Prime Ministers include:
1. Loan Agreement (L/A) for the Disaster-Resilient Rural Development Project between the Government of Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
2. Loan Agreement (L/A) for the Climate Change-Resilient Infrastructure Development Project to support production for ethnic minorities in the northern midland and mountainous provinces between the Government of Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
3. Memorandum of Cooperation on Low-Carbon Growth between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Japan implementing the Joint Crediting Mechanism.
4. Memorandum of Cooperation between the Department of Irrigation Works Management and Construction, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam, and the Rural Development Bureau, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan on technology and technical exchange in the field of irrigation.
5. Memorandum between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan on cooperation in the fields of information technology, communication, and digital transformation.
6. Agreement between the Vietnam Space Center under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency on satellite data exchange.
