Continuing their visit to Lang Son the day before, the delegation traveled to Nui Coc Lake, one of Thai Nguyen's most famous landmarks. This destination has a vast 25 km² man-made lake featuring 89 islands, harmoniously blending with the area's breathtaking natural scenery.
As the boat glided toward the Cultural island, an illustrious jewel safeguarding the folk culture and spiritual essence of Vietnam’s northern midlands—the delegation expressed their admiration for the vast space and fresh air of the eco-tourism destination. Often referred to as the “Ha Long Bay on land” of Thai Nguyen, the site boasts a network of floating islands on the lake, cultural landmarks such as temples, recreational facilities, and boat tours exploring the lake.

The gentle sounds of the boat slicing through the water harmonized with birdsong, creating a natural symphony that imbued the delegation with a sense of serenity and readiness to explore. As the ship docked, the Cultural island unfolded like a harmonious painting blending natural landscapes and traditional architecture.
The centerpiece of the Cultural island is the temple area nestled in a tranquil setting. The temple serves as a place for incense offerings and prayers and as a custodian of legendary tales surrounding Nui Coc lake. The delegations expressed delight while learning about traditional rituals, including peace-seeking ceremonies and offerings, showcasing profound respect for ancestors and deities.
The group then moved on to Gan temple, with its red-tiled roof peeking through the verdant forest greenery. Climbing the stone steps into the temple courtyard, the delegation was greeted by a serene and solemn atmosphere, evoking a deep sense of peace.

Vietnamese staff at embassies and international organizations play a vital role as bridges between the international community and local regions within the country.
"The Service Department for Diplomatic Corps will continue to organize similar programs to enhance the connection between localities and the international community in Vietnam. We hope these trips will contribute to showcasing the beauty of the country while fostering friendship and cooperation across various fields", Ms. Nguyen Thu Giang affirmed.
