Tuc Dup Hill is situated at the base of the poetic Co To mountain, which is part of the legendary and heroic That Son mountain range. Tuc Dup quickly became a key base for local revolutionary organizations due to its difficult terrain, which consists of a series of interconnected large and small caves. During the resistance war, the Seven Mountains region's formidable and renowned wall.

Tuc Dup is the perfect example of nature's handiwork, where high, jagged cliffs are intertwined with a lush forest. The maze-like nooks and crannies, winding caverns, and random variations. The rocks in the middle of the vast forest serve as historical witnesses. Since 1960, this location has served as a barricade, a solid fortress of the Tri Ton District Party Committee, a "red address," and an important base of the An Giang army and people in the country's long resistance war against the United States.

This area was devastated by stray bombs during the war and became a "mourning ground" devoid of any trees or grass. At the height of 128 days and nights, Tuc Dup is compared to a "two million dollar hill," which represents the cost of the war attributable to the number of American bombs dropped. ..
The US Army mobilized and employed numerous advanced weapons, cruel tactics, and psychological warfare, but was unable to overcome the army's unwavering patriotism, iron will, and valor. With the support of the army and the people, our team is always ironic and passionate, veterans recalled. Despite the fact that our forces were inferior to the enemy's, we held Tuc Dup hill and made a legendary mark due to our extraordinary bravery. Numerous revolutionary soldiers have sacrificed their lives for their homeland and country, leaving an indelible mark on the history of their nation... Tuc Dup was awarded "National Historical - Cultural Relic" status by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in recognition of his heroic and miraculous deeds.

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army's founding (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2020), An Giang Radio and Television Station collaborated with Prize Film Joint Stock Company to produce and distribute the film "Fortress Tuc Dup" in December 2020. The Director Xuan Cuong, the Screenwriter Tram Huong, and the Sao Mai Group financed the production of the two-episode TV series-style film that re-enacts revolutionary history.
