The heads of the sports and tourism departments also participated in the negotiations.

Ambassador Vladimir Baravikov congratulated Vietnam for successfully organising the 31st SEA Games. He expressed his great impression on the Vietnamese sports delegation’s good result at the regional festival with 205 gold medals, being at the top of the final rank.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong agreed with the Ambassador that the two sides need to have more exchanges of information and visits in the field of culture and art.

The parties reviewed the state and prospects for Belarusian-Vietnamese cooperation in culture, and in particular, discussed the exchange of days of culture and cinema, and thematic photo exhibitions. Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong stated that Vietnam is willing to support and facilitate the Belarusian Cultural Days to be held in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese side also reaffirmed its commitment to developing the relations with Belarus in the areas and restoring it to the pre-epidemic level.

The parties agreed to analyze and update the program of cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam in culture and sport.
