This past October, Viet Nam was re-elected as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council for the 2026–2028 term, securing the highest number of votes within the Asia–Pacific Group. This is a source of great joy and pride for the country.

The signing ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, themed “Combating Cybercrime – Sharing Responsibility – Shaping the Future”, will take place in Hanoi from October 25 to 26, 2025.

State President Luong Cuong will preside over the signing ceremony, with the participation of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, along with senior leaders from various countries, regional organizations, and international institutions.

The event will feature a high-level plenary discussion, ministerial roundtables, and several side conferences on international cooperation in combating cybercrime.
