This is not only an honor for the individual delegates but also an affirmation that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the great national unity bloc.

According to Mr. Hoang Dinh Thang, the theme of this Congress clearly conveys the message of innovation, creativity, and the strong aspiration for development in the new phase of the country.

For the overseas Vietnamese community, this serves as both a direction and a call to action, igniting the spirit of responsibility in leveraging knowledge, experience, reputation, and networking in host countries to accompany the homeland. These contributions, whether large or small, if persistently connected, will create a significant resource for the country's development in the new era.

Sharing the same sentiment, Dr. Nguyen Hong Son – President of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Japan, attending the National Patriotic Emulation Congress for the first time, expressed his emotion and pride in being part of the vibrant, sincere, and positively energetic atmosphere of the Congress.

He believes that the presence of overseas Vietnamese at the Congress is a vivid testament to the spirit of attachment and orientation towards the homeland through specific, practical actions.

According to Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, patriotism is not only expressed through emotions but should begin with specific actions in daily life. For the Vietnamese community in Japan, this means adhering to local laws, building the image of diligent, disciplined, and reliable Vietnamese people; while actively contributing intellect, experience, and resources to the homeland through knowledge transfer, technology, investment connections, and cultural – educational exchanges.

He expressed his hope that the patriotic emulation movement will continue to spread more vigorously, addressing practical societal issues, encouraging creativity, and daring to think and act for the common good.

Vice President and General Secretary of the Union of Vietnamese Organizations in the Russian Federation, Tran Phu Thuan, also assessed that being selected to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is a great honor, reflecting the Party and State's recognition of the overseas Vietnamese community. He emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "Emulation is patriotism" still holds its value and continues to spread widely within the overseas Vietnamese community.

According to Mr. Tran Phu Thuan, since the issuance of Resolution 36-NQ/TW on work related to overseas Vietnamese, the overseas community has become increasingly connected and actively participates in the nation's common movements.

With over 6.5 million Vietnamese living, studying, and working abroad, including a large number of well-trained intellectuals, experts, and students, this is a valuable resource for the country's development process.

Moreover, each overseas Vietnamese is a "people's diplomat", contributing to fostering understanding and strengthening friendly relations between Vietnam and host countries.

With the spirit of heading towards the 14th National Party Congress, the overseas Vietnamese delegates affirmed their commitment to continue uniting and accompanying the people in the country, effectively utilizing resources to emulate and contribute more to the cause of building and developing the nation, thereby asserting Vietnam's increasingly significant position and stature on the international stage.
