Strengthening Vietnam - Singapore trade connections through digital platforms

On the afternoon of October 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, the B2B e-commerce platform Arobid hosted and worked with a delegation of Singaporean enterprises led by Mr. Cao Xuan Thang, Trade Counsellor of Vietnam in Singapore.

The business trip contributed to promoting strategic cooperation between the two countries' business communities, while also kicking off a series of activities leading up to the key event “Vietnam – Singapore: Digital Exhibition – A New Era of B2B E-Commerce.”

At the meeting, many Singaporean companies expressed their desire to expand cooperation in Vietnam, particularly in consumer goods, food and beverages, and green products. These sectors are well aligned with sustainable development trends and the demands of the Singaporean market.

Both sides engaged in-depth discussions on market potential, practical cooperation needs, and strategies to leverage sustainable digital trade models. The focus was effectively utilising Arobid.com – a global B2B e-commerce ecosystem integrating 3D/VR virtual exhibitions, pitching spaces, and smart business matching.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Trieu, Chief Operating Officer of Arobid.com, noted that Singaporean partners highly appreciated the 3D/VR virtual exhibition model for its ability to allow businesses to view products more immersive way, proactively connect, schedule meetings, and sign contracts online.
