Spokesperson updated on the situation of Vietnamese citizens in the Middle East
WVR - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has implemented measures to assist citizens in returning home or traveling safely to a third country, and has so far supported 556 Vietnamese citizens stranded in the Middle East.

Following the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese representative missions in Iran, Israel, and neighboring countries have reviewed and compiled the wishes of Vietnamese citizens in the host countries and coordinated with relevant authorities to be ready to implement appropriate support measures.
In recent times, Vietnamese representative missions in the Middle East have continued to maintain hotlines and implement measures to assist citizens in returning home or traveling safely to a third country. To date, these agencies have supported 556 Vietnamese citizens stranded in the Middle East.
Additionally, the Vietnamese representative missions in the region continue to monitor the situation, maintain close contact with local authorities, and are prepared with scenarios to promptly protect and evacuate citizens in emergency situations.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again emphasized that Vietnamese citizens in Iran, Israel, and neighbouring countries should continue to follow local government information, warnings from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and updates from Vietnamese representative mision in the region.
In case of emergencies or difficulties, Vietnamese citizens should immediately contact the hotlines publicly announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the websites of representative missions and the citizen protection hotline of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
