Revolutionising Cardiovascular Care

Maria, 58, a mother of three in San Diego, has lived in fear since suffering a heart attack in early 2022. The trauma has left her lacking in confidence, and everyday tasks like going to the grocery store or visiting friends cause her to panic and experience severe anxiety. Meanwhile, taking medication every day has failed to address her fear and stress.

Coming to the solutions of “Salus Health,” Maria quickly felt a profound change. Thanks to the personalised support from the trainer, therapist, and nutritionist, she quickly took control of her health. After nearly 2 years of research, development, and implementation of the project, “Salus Health” has attracted more than 10,000 interested patients and directly treated more than 300 patients with high results every day, helping them overcome difficulties, return to normal life, and reduce dependence on drugs. Maria is an example of those miraculously recovered patients.

More than 80% of customers reported reduced stress and anxiety after the first 2 weeks of comprehensive treatment. 90% of customers chose to continue using this treatment regularly, and all customers reported a significant improvement in key biological indicators such as Cholesterol, inflammation indicators such as hsCRP, stress hormones such as Cortisol... after the first 60 days.

More importantly, patients returned to their favourite activities, reconnected with their communities, regained their professional confidence, and significantly reduced their dependence on medication… confirming the power of comprehensive support in the recovery of cardiovascular patients.

“Salus Health” provides a unique integrated care model by combining a multidisciplinary team of experts, including functional medicine trainers, therapists, nutritionists, exercise specialists, and respiratory trainers, providing comprehensive support for every aspect of the recovery process. In addition, in-depth, systematic home blood testing to determine biological indicators related to cardiovascular health, endocrine metabolism, and inflammation is also applied to help doctors have the most optimal care plan for patients.

The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Silicon Valley

The “Salus Health” project results from a process of learning, exploring, and researching with great enthusiasm by young businessman Trung Tran. Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City in a family with many generations of entrepreneurs, he inherited his parents’ passion for business, overcoming challenges, and desire for innovation. On the other hand, he is always passionate about projects that benefit the community.

His diverse educational experiences, spanning vibrant cities such as Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Milan in the prestigious international triple degree program of the University of Southern California (USC), have honed Trung Tran's global vision and entrepreneurial abilities.

After completing his studies, Trung Tran chose “Silicon Beach - Los Angeles” because this place has outstanding developments in science and technology and helps young people quickly access innovative medical resources and a solid foundation to promote startups.

Founded in June 2022, “Salus Health” results from an intensive medical research collaboration between Trung Tran and Dr. Karim El Shrief, a renowned cardiologist at Tri-City Medical Centre. Together, they supported and closely analysed the experiences of hundreds of cardiovascular patients, quickly discovering a major shortcoming in the traditional method of cardiovascular rehabilitation.

This close collaboration has revealed important systemic issues: Cardiovascular patients often face limited access to essential support services other than medications, leading to isolation, anxiety, and drug dependence.

Trung Tran’s journey from Vietnam to “Silicon Beach” is a living example of the creativity of young Vietnamese people in the international arena. Sharing his plans, Trung Tran said he still looks back to his homeland and roots, wishing to participate in the startup community in Vietnam actively.

In the future, he hopes to bring this comprehensive care model to Vietnam and Asian countries because the application of technology in the medical field is becoming a global trend, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic having changed the way we perceive, prevent, and improve health.

Understanding that healthcare is also a field that requires meticulousness, professionalism, and patience and that if young people start a business without passion, it will be difficult to pursue it to the end, so he is willing to share lessons learned from the competitive healthcare market in the United States to accompany young Vietnamese intellectuals because he believes that his success is closely linked to the precious cultural values ​​of his homeland and country.
