Reference exchange rate on Apr. 20: 23,642 VND/USD, rising 16 VND; Euro, Pound and Yen down together

Exchange rate on April 20:

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,642 VND/USD on April 20, up 16 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 24,824 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,459 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial banks rose.

At 8:30am, BIDV listed the buying rate at 23,340 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,640 VND/USD, both up 15 VND from the end of April 19.

Meanwhile, Vietcombank added 10 VND to both rates, listing at 23,290 VND/USD (buying) and 23,660 VND/USD (selling).
