The event attracted more than 5,000 enterprises, nearly 10,000 professional buyers, and over 50 delegations from local government authorities. The two events run until August 23, focusing on connecting innovation, production, trade, and technology transfer.
With the theme “Two Industries Integration, Enhancing Quality and Efficiency, Uninterrupted Circulation, Towards the Future”, the fair covers an exhibition area of about 200,000 m², concentrating on technology, healthcare, and consumer sectors, with exhibition zones for smart manufacturing, rural development, silver economy, healthcare, and high-quality consumption.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Zhao Guosheng, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, assessed that the continued simultaneous organization of the two events this year reflects a deeper combination of “creative invention” and “market application”, promoting the connection between scientific and technological innovation and industrial and commercial development.
According to him, Guangzhou will continue to take innovation as the driving force for industrial development, use trade as a lever to activate the market, and promote the transformation of creative ideas and results into products, enterprises, and economic value.
Vice Mayor Zhao Guosheng stated that Guangzhou currently has six advanced manufacturing clusters with an output value of over 100 billion Yuan and ten service industries with an added value of over 100 billion Yuan. Some sectors, such as new-generation displays, biomedicine, low-altitude economy, and self-driving cars, are developing rapidly.
Additionally, the city currently has over 1.7 million university students and ranks sixth globally in the Nature Index science city index. He called on businesses, organizations, and partners both domestically and internationally to increase investment, cooperation, and share in Guangzhou's development opportunities.

Within the framework of the Fair, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou participated in building and organizing the Vietnam booth, introducing high-quality Vietnamese agricultural and processed food products to Chinese businesses, buyers, and consumers.
The booth showcased typical products such as coffee, cashew nuts, dried fruits, traditional spices, and processed food products, thereby highlighting Vietnam's strengths in raw materials, production, and agricultural processing.
The booth attracted considerable interest from visitors, businesses, and buyers who came to learn about the products, exchange information, and seek cooperation opportunities.
