Prime Minister's Notice ‘Quang Trung Campaign’: Joining forces to support citizens in rebuilding houses
WVR - The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 14/TB-VPCP regarding the conclusions of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the meeting to assess the progress of the "Quang Trung Campaign" in swiftly rebuilding and repairing homes for households affected by recent typhoons and floods.

Regarding upcoming tasks, the Prime Minister urged ministries, sectors, localities, and forces to uphold the spirit of “faster and faster”, “seize the victory”, and remain determined to complete the "Quang Trung Campaign" as planned. The goal is to finish rebuilding homes for citizens by January 15, ensuring everyone has a home and can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere while following the 14th National Party Congress.
Specifically, the Prime Minister called on the Party Secretaries and Chairpersons of the People’s Committees in eight provinces and cities to continue leading and directing efforts. They are to mobilize the entire local political system, focus maximum forces, especially the military, police, and local security forces, along with political-social organizations (youth, women, veterans...) to join hands in supporting citizens to rebuild homes, clean up, and handle environmental issues. This should be done with the spirit of “working three shifts, four teams”, “overcoming sun and rain”, “working day and night, even on holidays”, “eating quickly, sleeping promptly” to complete the "Quang Trung Campaign" on schedule, all for the joy and happiness of the people.
Alongside repairing and rebuilding homes, immediate support is needed to ensure the provision of essential services such as electricity, water, and telecommunications for residents. Environmental sanitation, disease prevention, and traffic assurance should be addressed. There should be timely support for essential equipment and appliances (like TVs, refrigerators...) for disadvantaged families unable to re-equip themselves, especially those whose homes were destroyed or swept away by floods. This ensures everyone can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, follow the 14th National Party Congress, and celebrate a warm, joyful, and healthy Lunar New Year.
The Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security, and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union are to continue closely coordinating with localities to promptly mobilize maximum support for citizens in completing home rebuilding and environmental sanitation as requested by local authorities.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will lead, in collaboration with the Ministries of Defense, Public Security, the Government Office, Vietnam Television, and other relevant ministries, sectors, and localities, to urgently prepare for the summary conference of the "Quang Trung Campaign" immediately after its completion (expected on January 15 or 16).
Vietnam Television is tasked with leading the coordination with the Ministries of Defense, Public Security, Agriculture and Environment, and other relevant ministries, sectors, and localities to quickly produce a documentary on the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign". They should proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to effectively manage communication before, during, and after the campaign's summary.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will lead, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security, the Government Office, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to urgently review, compile, and propose appropriate commendation forms for organizations, collectives, and individuals with outstanding achievements and significant contributions to the "Quang Trung Campaign", to be submitted to the competent authorities by January 11, 2026.
