On March 10, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission, and Chairman of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentary Group Le Minh Hung met with Takebe Tsutomu, Special Advisor of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, on the occasion of his visit to Vietnam and participation in the 11th Vietnam-Japan Festival in Ho Chi Minh City.
During the meeting, Politburo member Le Minh Hung expressed his delight at the rapid, substantive, and comprehensive development of the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He also highly appreciated and thanked Special Advisor Takebe for his dedication and efforts in promoting Vietnam-Japan friendship and cooperation over the years, especially in cultural exchange, people-to-people exchange, local cooperation, and human resource training.

Congratulating the ruling Liberal Democratic Party of Japan on its recent House of Representatives election victory, Politburo Le Minh Hung expressed his desire to welcome Japanese leaders to visit Vietnam soon. He also congratulated the success of the 11th Vietnam-Japan Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, appreciating the event's significance in promoting economic, cultural, local exchange, and human resource cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Japan, as well as the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in general.
Sharing about Vietnam's two centennial development goals, Politburo member Le Minh Hung affirmed that Vietnamese leaders always value Japan's role, considering Japan as one of the top strategic partners. Building an industrial base and training high-quality human resources are crucial conditions for achieving these development goals. He expressed a desire to learn from Japan's experience and collaborate in high-quality human resource training, as well as to promote cooperation in politics, defense, security, economy, culture, labor, and local areas, ensuring mutual benefits and contributing to peace, economic stability, and development in the region and the world.

Special Advisor Takebe expressed his pleasure at meeting Politburoe member Le Minh Hung again, warmly congratulating Vietnam on successfully organizing the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He thanked Vietnamese leaders for their decisive guidance in promoting the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Mr. Takebe shared ideas about Japan accompanying Vietnam in developing suitable human resources for industrialization, modernization, and future development goals, and discussed the recent progress of the Vietnam-Japan University Project.
Affirming that Vietnamese leaders always pay great attention to the Vietnam-Japan University Project – a symbol of Vietnam-Japan cooperation, Politburo member Le Minh Hung suggested that both sides continue to closely coordinate and promote the project's groundbreaking in 2026 as agreed by the two countries' senior leaders, making Vietnam-Japan University a high-quality human resource training institution contributing significantly to Vietnam's development goals.
Concluding the meeting, Special Advisor Takebe thanked Politburoe member Le Minh Hung for his guidance and affirmed continued efforts to contribute to the development of the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the future.
