Politburo member, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung attends meetings with voters in Hue City
WVR - From March 1-3, in Hue City, Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung participated in voter meetings at Electoral Unit No. 4 of the city, including the communes of Loc An, Hung Loc, Khe Tre, Nam Dong, Long Quang, Chan May-Lang Co, Phu Loc, Phu Vinh, Phu Vang, Phu Ho, and Vinh Loc.

This is a crucial activity in the preparation process for the election of the 16th National Assembly deputies, in accordance with the law and the guidelines of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. It allows candidates for the National Assembly to directly meet, exchange, and understand the concerns and aspirations of voters and present their action plans.
The conference was chaired by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, and Member of the city’s Election Committee.
Attendees included representatives from various departments and sectors; the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People’s Council; specialized committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a large number of local voters.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee introduced the candidates at Electoral Unit No. 4, including: Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Tien Nam, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city; Ms. Le Thi Nguyen Chinh, teacher at Huong Huu Primary School; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong, Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Loc Commune, and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Vinh Loc Commune.

During the engagements, voters expressed a democratic, frank, and highly responsible spirit towards the development of the locality, the country's affairs, and the National Assembly. Many opinions acknowledged the efforts and dedication of the candidates in maintaining a close connection with the grassroots, listening to and faithfully conveying the voices of the voters.
Voters highly appreciated Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung’s role as a National Assembly deputy for the 15th term (2021-2026), noting that during the past term, the Minister, along with other National Assembly deputies, represented the voice and aspirations of the people nationwide. He clearly demonstrated his responsibility to represent the will, aspirations, and legitimate interests of Huế voters; proactively grasped the practical situation, and promptly reflected it in the assembly; actively participated in discussions, contributed opinions on legislative projects, oversight activities, and important national decisions, including key tasks of the 15th National Assembly.

With extensive experience at the central level, the Minister has always focused on aligning major Party and State policies with the specific development needs of Huế, especially in implementing the Politburo's Resolution 54 on building and developing Hue City until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Voters expressed that during this process, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung has contributed alongside city leaders and National Assembly deputies to perfect mechanisms and policies, creating conditions for Hue to mobilize resources, leverage heritage values, promote economic growth linked with cultural preservation, enhance the quality of life for residents, and boost foreign relations and international integration.
Voters also expressed their hope that if elected as a deputy for the 16th National Assembly, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung will continue to pay close attention to the comprehensive development of the locality; strengthen connections, and leverage domestic and international resources for socio-economic development; while continuing to serve as a bridge between the central government and the grassroots, promptly reflecting the legitimate aspirations of the people to the National Assembly and competent authorities.

During the engagements, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung expressed his appreciation for the heartfelt, frank, and responsible opinions of the voters.
The Foreign Minister stated that the election of the 16th National Assembly deputies and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term is a politically significant event in the context of the entire Party and people urgently implementing the 14th Party Congress Resolution.
New tasks for national development in the new era and organizational reforms pose increasing demands on the quality of the National Assembly's activities and elected deputies.
Sharing with voters, Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed that if entrusted with the position of a deputy for the 16th National Assembly, he will continue to maintain a close and regular connection with the people through various diverse and substantive engagement forms; listen, comprehensively and faithfully gather recommendations to reflect to the National Assembly and competent authorities, and discuss specific solutions.
Simultaneously, the Foreign Minister committed to contributing to monitoring and urging the resolution of recommendations, ensuring that issues of concern to voters are adequately considered, in accordance with the law, with a clear roadmap and specific outcomes.

The Foreign Minister emphasized that he will continue to accompany the locality in implementing socio-economic development plans, meeting the high demands of the central government for the city in the upcoming period; truthfully and promptly reflecting difficulties and obstacles from the grassroots to the National Assembly and competent authorities.
The Foreign Minister stated that he will actively participate in supporting the implementation and oversight of major central policies, strategic resolutions, policies, and laws in areas directly related to people's lives, such as sustainable development, environmental protection, administrative reform, and anti-corruption and wastefulness.

As the head of the Foreign Affairs sector, the Minister also affirmed that he will continue to work with agencies and localities to promote foreign affairs and international integration, focusing on seizing favorable international opportunities and conditions for local development, including Hue City, especially in attracting investment, promoting exports and imports, tourism, and international cultural exchanges.
Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung expressed his desire to continue receiving the trust, support, and supervision of the voters; considering it a motivation to continuously strive and fulfill the responsibilities entrusted.
The voter engagement conference at Electoral Unit No. 4 in Hue City took place in a spirit of solidarity and democracy, clearly reflecting the people's sovereignty and the responsibility of the candidates; it also serves as an important basis for voters to choose and entrust their confidence in truly deserving representatives, who possess both virtue and talent, representing the will and aspirations of the people.
