| The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was one of the first ministries established in the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, personally founded by President Hồ Chí Minh, who also served as its first Minister. Over the past 80 years, from the early days of nation-building through both the French and American wars, diplomacy has been a vital front contributing to the nation's ultimate victory. In the subsequent 40 years of renovation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has continued its pioneering mission, coordinate with other ministries and sectors to achieve numerous accomplishments, positioning Vietnam not only on the world map but also as a beacon in the region and globally.
