Upon hearing reports from representatives of units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the construction contractor regarding progress and display content, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang emphasized that this is an important political task. Given the limited time remaining, she urged the units to closely coordinate, take proactive and positive action in implementing construction, installation, and supplementing exhibition materials. The goal is to ensure that the display fully presents the formation and development of the Foreign Affairs sector over the past 80 years.

Under the guidance and teachings of President Ho Chi Minh, the first Minister of Foreign Affairs, the sector has continuously matured, working closely with other ministries, agencies, and localities to make significant contributions to the struggle for national independence as well as to national construction and development, promoting international integration, and enhancing the country's position and influence in the international arena.

The Deputy Minister instructed that the exhibition must reflect all three pillars of foreign affairs: Party diplomacy, state diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy. It must also highlight specific areas of foreign affairs work such as Channel Two diplomacy, economic diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, border and territorial affairs, overseas Vietnamese affairs, local foreign affairs, citizen protection, external information, as well as the development of the Foreign Affairs sector toward comprehensiveness, professionalism, and modernity.

The content and presentation method must harmoniously combine video clips, archival photographs, artifacts, and new formats such as infographics and interactive activities. This will help visitors easily engage with the content and grasp the intended messages, thereby fostering public consensus and international support for Vietnam's foreign affairs efforts.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang called on all units to further enhance their sense of initiative and urgency, determined to complete all components before August 15 in order to report to the Ministry's leadership and launch the exhibition as scheduled.

The exhibition space for the Foreign Affairs sector at the National Socio-Economic Achievement Exhibition, marking the 80th anniversary of National Day, is expected to consist of three main sections arranged in chronological order, covering all areas of foreign affairs.

This exhibition space is not only a commemorative activity for the 80th anniversary of National Day but also a practical celebration of 80 years of Vietnamese diplomacy (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2025).
