Over 90,000 visitors attend Vietnam International Travel Mart 2026

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, emphasized that the VITM Hanoi 2026, themed “Digital Transformation and Green Growth – Elevating Vietnam Tourism”, has affirmed the fundamental operational direction of Vietnamese tourism enterprises: green, sustainable, quality, and technologically advanced.
According to him, this is a step to concretize the two strategic directions of the Party: digital transformation and green growth, creating new values for the industry.

With the participation of management agencies, promotion agencies, and tourism businesses from 31 provinces and cities of Vietnam, 20 countries and territories, and over 600 enterprises with booths, the Mart attracted nearly 4,500 Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to work with over 25,000 appointments for meetings and cooperation exchanges; approximately 15,000 tours and promotional tourism products were offered at the Mart.
“After four days of organization, it is estimated that over 90,000 visitors came to visit, experience, and shop at the Mart. VITM 2026 has demonstrated that Vietnamese tourism enterprises are seriously implementing the two strategic development directions of our Party,” Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized.
According to Nguyen Hong Hai, during the four days, the Mart hosted 18 events, conferences, seminars, press conferences, and tourism promotion activities within its framework.
Notably, the event recorded impressive figures on social media with over 35 million visits and interactions about the Mart on the TikTok platform, contributing to enhancing communication effectiveness.
The highlight of this year's Mart was the Forum “Vietnam Tourism - AI Application for Rapid and Sustainable Development”. The forum attracted a large number of state management agencies, experts, and business leaders to exchange experiences on AI application, realizing initiatives, and developing service products based on modern technological achievements.
The Mart has encouraged businesses to seriously implement digital transformation and green growth, making these factors important drivers to elevate and advance Vietnam's tourism in the new era.
According to a quick survey of participating units at the Mart, results show that tourism product sales revenue over the four days reached over 195 billion VND.
The mark of business satisfaction also reached a record high: 95% of businesses achieved their goals when participating in the Mart, with 8.2% exceeding their expected goals, and over 92% of units expressed satisfaction with the activities at VITM Hanoi 2026.
Besides the impressive revenue figures, the event also left its mark through activities honoring the dedicated efforts of the tourism community. The Vietnam Tourism Association also awarded commemorative medals and certificates to 53 units that participated and contributed positively to the success of the Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM 2026.
The list of honorees includes 8 important categories, notably the Diamond Sponsor - Vietnam Airlines, Media Sponsor TikTok, along with accompanying units such as Bit Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the Faculty of Tourism - Hanoi Open University.

Additionally, large-scale booths with impressive designs and attractive activities from countries such as Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, along with localities and major enterprises like Saigontourist, Vietravel, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai... also received formal appreciation from the Organizing Committee.
VITM Hanoi 2026 concluded not only with valuable economic contracts but also opened a new chapter for Vietnam tourism. The brilliant success of the Mart affirmed the power of connectivity, while also laying a solid foundation for the entire industry to aim for sustainable development based on digital transformation and green growth.
