New Bac Ninh develops inter-provincial tourism tours to attract 10 million visitors
WVR - The goal of the tourism sector in the new Bac Ninh province by 2030 is to strive to meet the criteria for recognition of one national-level tourist area; two provincial-level tourist areas, ten tourist spots; attract 10 million visitors, achieve total tourism revenue of 10,000 billion VND, and create jobs for 12,000 workers.

To achieve the aforementioned goals, Bac Ninh focuses on addressing limitations and existing issues; reviewing and completing mechanisms, policies, and administrative procedures related to tourism development; effectively implementing policies to support community tourism development; and researching to build mechanisms to mobilize and efficiently use investment resources for tourism development in the area.
Additionally, the province emphasizes improving the quality of tourism planning, inviting reputable domestic and international consulting units to undertake planning for the province. The planned tourist areas and spots need to be reviewed, adjusted, and supplemented to ensure they align with current realities.
The province focuses on mobilizing and effectively utilizing resources, primarily integrating public investment funds, socialized resources from organizations, businesses, and the public to invest in major, key projects and works serving tourism development.
Simultaneously, Bac Ninh focuses on developing popular types of services and products such as health tourism, agricultural tourism, eco-tourism, resort tourism, and golf tourism; enhancing efforts to host international events to promote event and conference tourism.
The province organizes unique national and international cultural, sports, and tourism events linked with the entertainment industry to create a “buzz” that attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists.
The locality encourages strategic investors who are environmentally responsible to establish complex tourism service areas, national tourist areas, large-scale tourism service projects, and high-quality shopping and entertainment centres in key areas...

Currently, in Bac Giang province, community tourism cooperatives linked with fruit-growing regions have been established, primarily in Luc Ngan district and Chu town.
Tourism service areas, accommodation facilities meeting at least 2-star standards, and service businesses meeting tourist service standards are concentrated in Bac Giang city, Viet Yen town, and Luc Nam district.
The province has initially developed the tourism product "The Path of Buddhist Propagation of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Masters" – a core highlight of Bac Giang tourism.
The establishment of the new Bac Ninh province will open up new opportunities for tourism, such as developing inter-provincial tours. Regional linkage, brand promotion, and the development of new tourism products will be enhanced and more convenient. This is a crucial foundation for sustainable tourism development.
