Origin of diseases
With the development of science and technology, the life quality of mankind nowadays has been improved than in the past. However, diseases have always attached to us at an increasingly serious level such as the COVID-19 pandemic that made more than 47 million people to be infected and 1.2 million died. The main causes are environmental pollution, climate change and stressful hustle and bustle in exchange for the enjoyment of modern material life. These causes harm both our physical and mental health, eventually lead to illnesses.
One of the most common misconceptions is that the advancement of medical achievements will eradicate many diseases. Nevertheless, chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabete, blood pressure and autoimmune diseases, etc. are still increasing day by day as well as having no sign of ceasing.
As a result, the best way to eliminate diseases is “Prevention is better than cure”. Our ancestors’ philosophy regarding health is still relevant to today’s society.
Active prevention from the root cause of diseases
Despite the same purposes of health care and protection, the Eastern and Western medicines always have differences in disease prevention and treatment.
While the Western medicine directly focuses on DISEASES, or destroying pathogens such as antibiotics or dealing with diseases' symptoms/consequences such as diabetes/blood pressure medicines, etc., the Eastern medicine focuses on PEOPLE with herbal remedies to help the body by itself fight against diseases.
The strengthening and promotion of body's potentials is the most active and effective method of diseases prevention and control. However, due to the lack of scientific basis of folk remedies used in traditional medicine, it is somewhat restricted to use in comparison with the well-researched and accurate Western medicine. Both medical approaches are still developing simultaneously without intersection points, which lead to disadvantages for patients who need both methods to protect their health.
The East – West bridge named NAVITA
NAVITA, a high-tech pharmaceutical company was founded in 2015, stemming from the research achievements of scientists of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and University of Pécs Medical School. “Na” stands for “natural” while “Vita” means “life”.
NAVITA refines the quintessence of the two medicines by choosing rare oriental herbs such as ophiocordyceps sinensis, ganoderma lucidum, seaweed, etc. combined with temperate Western fruits like black grapes, strawberry, apple, cherry, cranberry, etc. to create comprehensive health protection products that help the body by itself fight against diseases. It can be said that this is a philosophy of Eastern medicine which is scientifically proven by the Western science. Navita’s herbal products help increase the body’s immune system, increase endogenous stem cell proliferation to repair fault cells and reduce free radicals which are the cause of premature aging and several chronic diseases.
With the vision “To create a healthier life from natural resources” and the enthusiasm and talent of researchers, NAVITA has won over medical professionals and consumers. On June 28, 2020, eight NAVITA products were awarded the “Golden Product for Community Health”, one of the most prestigious awards in the Vietnam’s fuctional food industry. In addition, NAVITA was also honoured by the Viet Nam Consumer Protection Center as Top 10 Gold Brands in 2020.
