More proactive in preventing wrong and fake news about the 13th National Party Congress

Continue to grasp thoroughly, propagate steering standpoints and ideas from the Politburo, Secretariat about the preparation and holding the 13^th National Party Congress, Plan No. 369-KH/BTGTW of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education for propagandizing the Party congress at all levels from central and the 13^th National Party Congress, the Ministry of Information and Communications presided over and coordinated with the relevant organizations to host the Conference to train for over 300 journalists from 115 press agencies who will cover the 13^th National Party Congress.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said that this Conference was intended to help press agencies to further propagate about political awareness and ideology within Party, to create the consensus in society about the Party congress at all levels toward the XIII National Party Congress; and to timely look back on socio-economic development, especially the work of Party building in previous term.

“It is necessary to fight and prevent from the internal self-transformation, to protect the Party’s ideological foundation, the work of inspecting and supervising Party’s discipline and to fight against the wastefulness and misconduct. Thereby, we can build the trust in the leadership of Party, regime, patriotism, national solidarity, self-reliance to push up the national development”, Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao stressed.

According to Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, press agencies need to be more protactive on providing readers with news and information during, before and after the National Party Congress. Especially, it is necessary to bring the resolution of the 13^th National Party Congress into the real life, timely informing of determination of our Party, army, and people to implement the Party Congress’s resolutions; at the same preventing fake and false news from the hostile forces about the National Party Congress.

Referring the Party building in the previous Party Congress and the preparation for the upcoming 13^th Party Congress, Mr. Nguyen Duc Ha, former Director General of the Party’s Grassroots Department, Central Organization Commission, said at the 14th session of the 12th Party Central Committee, it was decided that the 13^th National Party Congress will take place from January 25 to February 2, 2021.

“The first meeting of Central Committee will take place right during the time of the Congress. The first meeting will be held to elect the leading organs and leading titles of Party. Specifically, at the first meeting, we will elect the Politburo, General Secretary, the Secretariat, the Central Inspection Committee, and the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee. After all, the responsibility of the 12^th Central Executive Committee will complete and and hand over to the 13^th Central Executive Committee”, Mr. Nguyen Duc Ha informed.
